Compass Project Inclined Plane Simulation
Compass project inclined plane simulation would work for your purpose.
Good idea; I'll have a read about it. Thanks! Edit: Seems nice, but maybe it's just that my knowledge of CAD is limited. Can I set the coordinates or something so I can reproduce this (or something similar)? I've often had issues exporting FEA based meshes back into a CAD file for work so I've never thought to experiment with this.
No, that's exactly how you export a FEA mesh to a CAD file. How are you exporting it? It shouldn't matter much. It's not like you can just press export and it'll be exactly what you want. A lot of times you'll need to adjust the coordinates for the optimizer. But it's how I always do it. You can also export meshes from superia or ushroom to cad, but I haven't tried that. I usually convert to solidworks or AEC
No, I meant how am I exporting it to cad. I'd like to save this as a feshow profile. When you export the superia mesh to cad, will it export a solid or do you need to cut it yourself (like with blender)?
You cut it out. It will have an albedo, materials, etc.
