Reagle music theatre auditions are in a couple weeks

It is but I was told it would take at least six weeks, and I have no idea how long auditions usually last. Seems like a long time to just audition for auditions! Shouldn't you at least know who you're getting with at least that?

They don’t tell you who it’s gonna be until you get the call. Or it just happens at the auditions as is the case in my theatre if you’re not on the list someone will probably volunteer. It sucks but it’s not uncommon. It’s been mentioned before that the roles are apparently going extremely fast. They’re full on hiring for the 2019/2020 season right now, and it’s gonna get busy.

I've always sat through all of the auditions in my theatre but man do they last forever. Plus, if it's a cast, someone has to take their last and the next person is just guessing until all the spots are filled. I've sat there watching and thinking 'are these people auditioning or am I auditioning?' But thank god for volunteers! :)

Oh yeah definitely about that last and best part. And I’m so sorry you can relate to what you were saying about sitting through them haha. Most are just accepting and grateful to be auditioning. As long as you are doing what you love what is so wrong with getting into theatre and performing.

Rfc 5322

Rfc 5322 is probably your culprit. Set it to disable phone numbers as you navigate pages. Probably needs a settings update. Except Google stops it from working. Google Voice works well. That's interesting. I had no problems with gv after it was disabled. Yeah, and you can still send SMS texts to your GV phone number it is just that only the number you choose appears on the screen rather than the number that Google has sent you your SMS to. (I think) It's not just gv. That's why I'm saying it should get updated. Apparently it is an rfc 5308 type protocol. I would believe as much. The good ol' RFC isn't the most well-documented of things. And without a reliable way to track it down, it is difficult to patch things. Do you have a link to info about that? I was unaware. I can't dig it up. I just know it exists. And that at the time of rfc 5322 it was known to be broken.
