Bottoms Up And The Devil Laughs Gif

Bottoms up and the devil laughs gif should be next.

Sticky this one for visibility! I think there may be many people thinking the same thing. How would a copyright claim work? A subreddit being hosted on a server? What if a copy pasta is created that references the ban? Etc.

I'm down with the sticky suggestion. Copyright claims generally apply to the first use, and to continue citing it, when it has been confirmed as copyrighted content is indeed infringing. They would also apply to the user who is using it, to me if a user made that edit to the image, but I don't see why it would apply to whoever is hosting it. Copy pasta references to the original art are probably excluded, because they don't really think it to be a copyright violation.

I see, this is all very interesting! Just wish more people knew this stuff in the first place haha.

Hopefully this sticky will be a starting point for a community discussion of intellectual property issues. edit: /u/MrIdrA already hit the point on the button.

I definitely like the sticky idea, but there seems to be a misunderstanding about what is *outside* and *on* Reddit and this sub in particular. Not all images and/or images in public places are copyrighted, reddit is just a giant redistribution site where artists just upload their images and then we rehost them.
