Larch And Lake Lansing
Larch and lake lansing and laurel falls are a few you should hit up, they're in the northeast corner of the state and the road is super nice.
Definitely going to do some exploring this Spring. Thanks!
Oh, and another thing. Traverse City is beautiful (if you like lakes, that is). The Sandston river walk (what the Charles river was named). And, there are actually some cool bike trails off the north side, especially south to the pine and the grass. It's a nice little bicycling town. Oh, and the fall colors are rediculously pretty. I think it's because those lakes just radiate light to the trees.
I'll check out the trails when i visit! I love riding my bike! Especially for exercise and to relax. My favorite season for foliage is Fall for sure!
I also love riding my bike! I only have a '80s peugeot 106 at the moment, but it's really great, much nicer than the crappy '90's GT I rode before it, and it's super fun, low revving, great on gas (I never stop riding). You should come visit some time in late fall/early spring and see the colors then, they are spectacular.
