Civ 6 Amenities Guide

Civ 6 amenities guide is part of a future patch along with the Laundry service.

I actually hope we don’t get amenities as a patcher. Then we might be expected to read things like “user profile: luxant :a.” At least it goes with the theme a bit better if you include “pool_guy” or whatever. Then again maybe it does look a bit too out of place if you make the switch after playing civ VI for months.

It's better than having the guides pop up by default and have you click them by pressing - so that, if you really want to get it off your screen, you can.

Your point kinda doesn’t apply here because when something pops up by default for everyone who uses the game, you don’t have much choice whether you look at it or don’t. If the guides were selected by one and for all, the people who want to would have to move it every few seconds and not everyone would see it.

The exception to that is modding, where you just hide them from sight and have to hit the modding button a couple times to get them to pop up. Otherwise you don't know if they're present and can't decide until you look at them.

Rfc 5322

Rfc 5322 is probably your culprit. Set it to disable phone numbers as you navigate pages. Probably needs a settings update. Except Google stops it from working. Google Voice works well. That's interesting. I had no problems with gv after it was disabled. Yeah, and you can still send SMS texts to your GV phone number it is just that only the number you choose appears on the screen rather than the number that Google has sent you your SMS to. (I think) It's not just gv. That's why I'm saying it should get updated. Apparently it is an rfc 5308 type protocol. I would believe as much. The good ol' RFC isn't the most well-documented of things. And without a reliable way to track it down, it is difficult to patch things. Do you have a link to info about that? I was unaware. I can't dig it up. I just know it exists. And that at the time of rfc 5322 it was known to be broken.
