Good Morning Campers Groundhog Day

Good morning campers groundhog day was one of the best of the classics. the rest were average, but that was pretty good.

I think Groundhog Day was pretty meh, at least compared to the others. Phil's a robot, not a spring chicken himself, that's all.

No one said Groundhog Day was one of the best, just the best comedy movie of the era. EDIT: Oh, sorry, thought there would be something more offensive in there. "Classic" is a pretty loose term, and Groundhog Day is close enough to being a classic. Sorry I don't fit your reality.

Yeah, I was only trying to be playful. But it did have some awful scenes. Like the ones where Bill Murray shoots Phil and orders for coffee, only to be told it's in the freezer. That was infuriating. It would've been so perfect if Bill Murray had run out to shoot Phil and grab a coffee at the same time.

I liked those scenes. Groundhog Day was never really about the plot, it was about the characters. Maybe my perspective is wrong, but it seems like you'd actually enjoy the weird, alien elements in it.

I don't mean the characters would be made any less interesting by a few scenes with them in the freezer. It just takes the pace and the overall excitement of the film and turns it into a night-long watch with a cup of coffee in your hands.
