Berkeley Rainfall Totals
Berkeley rainfall totals have been surprisingly consistent with the climate models. They also seem to fluctuate little between big storms and normal levels. I haven’t been able to get a handle on them.
It sounds like you would get your data from Berkeley, and then combine them with their modeling? If it is just their predictions, that would be really easy.
Oh I know, but I’m not qualified to do climate models for Berkeley and obviously I have a lot of time to kill. I’m supposed to build software for developing their 3-5 year forecasts at work. But I don’t really understand climate models well enough to do it. I’m just throwing ideas out there in regards to Berkeley, and this topic gets no traction.
Good for Berkeley. Research institutions make good sense. I will say I like Berkeley's Berkeley rainfall forecast, I haven't seen any other forecast that can predict rainfall to this extent.
>I have not seen any other forecast that can predict rainfall to this extent. I feel like I've been saying that for over 20 years.
The particular joke is about Berkeley's rainfall forecast, I feel like more people need to know about it.
