Nicholas Troutman

Nicholas troutman is trying to make some profit by disassembly and resale. I almost bought 2 less than a year before the v4. As for the warranty, i saw a video where nicholas troutman opened the handle of the guilloche and it was a clone, so he sold it as a custom made knife. I might be wrong though.

Somebody else stated he could be prebuying knives and selling them...I don't think it's that. I mean, who would buy something like that knowing he could just pick up the same one at any store that could give him a price check on it? Maybe he is a collector and wants to resell to profit? Doubt it though. Maybe he works at Benchmade?

They sell for like $120 for the gunmetal. It's definitely a niche case, but one of the few. I'm sure somebody is out there using their knife like that.

Wow, well no matter. When a knife is $120 and it handles well, it's a bargain at that price point :) thanks for the heads up on that one, if they aren't counterfeited that is ;)

Rfc 5322

Rfc 5322 is probably your culprit. Set it to disable phone numbers as you navigate pages. Probably needs a settings update. Except Google stops it from working. Google Voice works well. That's interesting. I had no problems with gv after it was disabled. Yeah, and you can still send SMS texts to your GV phone number it is just that only the number you choose appears on the screen rather than the number that Google has sent you your SMS to. (I think) It's not just gv. That's why I'm saying it should get updated. Apparently it is an rfc 5308 type protocol. I would believe as much. The good ol' RFC isn't the most well-documented of things. And without a reliable way to track it down, it is difficult to patch things. Do you have a link to info about that? I was unaware. I can't dig it up. I just know it exists. And that at the time of rfc 5322 it was known to be broken.
