Dish Perks Free Previews

Dish perks free previews program was amazing when it started but we just aren't paying attention to it anymore. You don't think they're going to charge for them though? T-Mobile is giving everyone the ability to watch and record shows as soon as they're available. I do it all the time for Fox shows. It's pretty convenient

Free preview program for customers on Verizon has been around for years. It only exists because those customers who did switch probably got other incentives like free streaming content they probably wouldn't have and free HBO max. However, when they do actually start charging customers, I think Dish is going to charge far too much and end up losing far too many customers. Too few people on average will have $$$ to pay for it, and not many people will want to watch that way.

I hear you but this show has a devoted core fan-base that will pay for it if they come to that point. I don't think dish will offer it for free. They've done that in the past and it actually did really hurt them. They won't be able to compete with it. That's a mistake if that's what they do

Rfc 5322

Rfc 5322 is probably your culprit. Set it to disable phone numbers as you navigate pages. Probably needs a settings update. Except Google stops it from working. Google Voice works well. That's interesting. I had no problems with gv after it was disabled. Yeah, and you can still send SMS texts to your GV phone number it is just that only the number you choose appears on the screen rather than the number that Google has sent you your SMS to. (I think) It's not just gv. That's why I'm saying it should get updated. Apparently it is an rfc 5308 type protocol. I would believe as much. The good ol' RFC isn't the most well-documented of things. And without a reliable way to track it down, it is difficult to patch things. Do you have a link to info about that? I was unaware. I can't dig it up. I just know it exists. And that at the time of rfc 5322 it was known to be broken.
