Emotiva mr1 and s10 would be both better options than the fiio

Which Fiio would you recommend?

IMO, I would go for the Mr. Black Mod Dac DAC/AMP. This will allow you to use it as a dedicated input, or use your phone headphone jack to use the DAC portion. Since you're basically mirroring the sound from your PC into the computer, it may even sound clearer on your phone.

Do you know if I could switch which one was used by default when connecting to the computer so that the Mr Black uses the phone headphone?

I haven't tried using the computer jack, but I know that you can customize the jack to change the device that uses it. And it's cheap as dirt, so it wouldn't break your bank.

I found out that if I wanted to mirror audio from my phone to my PC would I need a DAC as well? The Fiio is cheap and I can get it for ~$46-$50 which is what I pay for my SD card for my phone, is it worth it?

There are better options out there for the price point, but the Mr. Black has proven to be the best at producing quality audio from my experience. And given that you only need to spend a few bucks on the Dac, it's a good choice.

Rfc 5322

Rfc 5322 is probably your culprit. Set it to disable phone numbers as you navigate pages. Probably needs a settings update. Except Google stops it from working. Google Voice works well. That's interesting. I had no problems with gv after it was disabled. Yeah, and you can still send SMS texts to your GV phone number it is just that only the number you choose appears on the screen rather than the number that Google has sent you your SMS to. (I think) It's not just gv. That's why I'm saying it should get updated. Apparently it is an rfc 5308 type protocol. I would believe as much. The good ol' RFC isn't the most well-documented of things. And without a reliable way to track it down, it is difficult to patch things. Do you have a link to info about that? I was unaware. I can't dig it up. I just know it exists. And that at the time of rfc 5322 it was known to be broken.
