Why Does Pike Call Grog Buddies

Why does pike call grog buddies when he thinks grog's friends are probably the scum of the earth? I am guessing, I never listened to the ghouls. I am guessing from what he says that he has been with this party from the beginning. He was with them then and became a friend. How he's able to see through their good and bad in such short order makes me wonder about him himself.

pike knows he's bad, but he's still the only one that made it this far and he owes grog something. Even if they're all bad and grog doesn't like this life, grog has a responsibility towards these people and needs to try to make them see the light. That's what I took from it.

Not really sure he owes Grog anything anymore. He sees them as coworkers, nothing more. Like Bill. edit: Oh, actually, remember back in Beta campaign when Grog freaked out at the sight of him. His reaction was very much "I don't want to see you again."

I think pike's obligation to grog is a bit more specific. Maybe it wouldn't be part of a justice mission, but I think pike sees it as an obligation not only to ensure that grog doesn't get himself killed, but to make him see his mistakes and figure out how he ended up on such an abysmal path

Rfc 5322

Rfc 5322 is probably your culprit. Set it to disable phone numbers as you navigate pages. Probably needs a settings update. Except Google stops it from working. Google Voice works well. That's interesting. I had no problems with gv after it was disabled. Yeah, and you can still send SMS texts to your GV phone number it is just that only the number you choose appears on the screen rather than the number that Google has sent you your SMS to. (I think) It's not just gv. That's why I'm saying it should get updated. Apparently it is an rfc 5308 type protocol. I would believe as much. The good ol' RFC isn't the most well-documented of things. And without a reliable way to track it down, it is difficult to patch things. Do you have a link to info about that? I was unaware. I can't dig it up. I just know it exists. And that at the time of rfc 5322 it was known to be broken.
