Dropbox 5xx Error
Dropbox 5xx error.
Youtube doesn't need a dropbox account, though. I don't see why Google would block video sharing through its own service that competes with a number of competing services.
Dropbox gets everyone to log in through Google, Google puts "This account is linked to Dropbox" and logs out. I don't think they do it for an option, I think it's either baked into a firmware driver or part of this deal with Comcast.
Ah, I see. Why would they give content providers another source to track users? Do content providers pay the Netflix patent royalty for every copyright infringement they make possible? If not why would they care what Google does with that data? Does dropping that user and then also deleting the user account of Google uploads mean that content providers can no longer monitor IP address for all of their content?
What you posted just sounds asinine. Either you're upset that Google allows a 3rd party to monitor your traffic and prevent it, or you're upset that Google doesn't offer Google account linking. Either way you have to look in the mirror and admit that somehow this is Google's fault. Go Google the content you want to share, and just google the drive link. Boom. Done.
...no. At all. It's no different than me looking at all that I've shared with YT. They don't automatically make a browser extension that makes it happen, but they do make the service available. That doesn't mean it's a good thing for them to be handing that information directly to corporations, and I don't see how suggesting that this is Google's fault for making that available is anything but factually incorrect.
YouTube goes out of their way to limit your ability to share. And by that I mean make it difficult.
