Fumble Recovery For Touchdown
Fumble recovery for touchdown is even stronger
I have been saying this for a long time. I would never teach my players that and it's complete BS, but if I could I'd definitely do it. Imagine a QB in an empty backfield, either to scramble or to pick up the handoff, fumbles, recovers, and then gets tossed a 25-yard TD! I'd be giddy.
That might be a bit silly because it's essentially cheating the QB. If he takes off in the open field his defender couldn't have possibly touched him. It makes players hurt themselves running after interceptions.
Yeah, but damnit there's a chance that might happen. I love the chance it provides for heroics against the crappy WRs out there. Even if it's once and never again in your career you have a good chance at a touchdown.
A really good player would never fumble that far back anyway.
Lol. I guess I'd get out of the pocket and catch on my knees instead of throwing it behind me.
Then your on your knees and he's kicking it where the DB will probably get his feet up in it. I've never been able to imagine a QB running at you after a pass like that.
