Sony 7000es Receiver

Sony 7000es receiver is good and also lower priced

I actually do have that one, but while it's been great for us, we're moving in about two months and I think it's time to upgrade the receiver. Are they more upgrade resistant than something like a Logitech Z505/616? I've had good experience with both, but I'm not taking any chances with next door's mom.

Yes definitely better than the z505 or z616. Don't worry about upgrading at all until it's gone!

You're welcome! I've wanted to build a cabinet for mine but I haven't yet. Good luck finding a nice shelf/putting it together. I can't wait for mine to come in.

I'm going to get some suggestions from people on DIY and /r/DIY about dimensions for a nice wooden shelf once we get near settling in. I'm excited about the rig I'll get. I tried out a 618 (at half volume) and LOVED it. I hope to get one of those before the tower.

Rfc 5322

Rfc 5322 is probably your culprit. Set it to disable phone numbers as you navigate pages. Probably needs a settings update. Except Google stops it from working. Google Voice works well. That's interesting. I had no problems with gv after it was disabled. Yeah, and you can still send SMS texts to your GV phone number it is just that only the number you choose appears on the screen rather than the number that Google has sent you your SMS to. (I think) It's not just gv. That's why I'm saying it should get updated. Apparently it is an rfc 5308 type protocol. I would believe as much. The good ol' RFC isn't the most well-documented of things. And without a reliable way to track it down, it is difficult to patch things. Do you have a link to info about that? I was unaware. I can't dig it up. I just know it exists. And that at the time of rfc 5322 it was known to be broken.
