That looks to be about the cheapest I've seen so far (at least so far as a foreigner). What's the thickness of the wick? This might help direct you to better wicking materials; you may need something a bit thicker. Do you think it's too far too short?

I have ordered aluminium wire mesh that looks the same and it was 19,50€. Just came in from Canada today! Looks to be the cheapest shipping I've seen yet! I'm thinking of returning the aluminium mesh but i'm not going to without trying it. From the look of the aluminium wire is should be almost the same as the copper. I'll post comparison photos later!
