I'm building a 4300, and will have a 05 gt with a v8 swap. Do you have any recommendations of parts? Do I need a slip on throttle body?

Yep you do. But not many people make the required slip on hoses for old school kit cars like an a2a, gt etc. Do you want the rattle can job or want to DIY.

I want the job lol I assume it's pretty easy and if not it's not expensive?

It is pretty easy. I have made it 3-4 times and rarely get paid. Just watch a video or buy a book. A good YouTube is 4cyl TDi hauls.

Yeah I've seen a couple of videos on 4cyl TDI hauls but I'm hesitant to install anything at the moment. I'm worried the mileage on them won't be suitable for long road trips.

With a bit of searching you will find what you need though. Mine works as good as new. I have seen quite a few really long haul ones made with no issues.

Yeah I'm sure I could find out what I need! Glad to hear it doesn't give any problems haha, not much use for a car that's only meant for city driving anyways.

Rfc 5322

Rfc 5322 is probably your culprit. Set it to disable phone numbers as you navigate pages. Probably needs a settings update. Except Google stops it from working. Google Voice works well. That's interesting. I had no problems with gv after it was disabled. Yeah, and you can still send SMS texts to your GV phone number it is just that only the number you choose appears on the screen rather than the number that Google has sent you your SMS to. (I think) It's not just gv. That's why I'm saying it should get updated. Apparently it is an rfc 5308 type protocol. I would believe as much. The good ol' RFC isn't the most well-documented of things. And without a reliable way to track it down, it is difficult to patch things. Do you have a link to info about that? I was unaware. I can't dig it up. I just know it exists. And that at the time of rfc 5322 it was known to be broken.
