Honourary habts should be for stuff like this not something as huge as the AC ring.

Yeah, I can understand why OP chose that. What could you possibly offer though? My opinion, i wouldn't go either unless you get a sponsor for the AC ring. You don't really want to be put on the spot having to give someone a ring that you don't know about. Just my 2cents.

I agree, dont do it. but maybe throw something out there as a reward for doing the tour, like just dropping your name in as an honerary? I mean, imagine for a second the guy is a millionaire with a roof over his head and a network of international network connections, he doesnt know you and you havent helped him out, your the opposite of the stereotypical "artist" - then all the sudden he gives you a ring for free? talk about pressure.

There is literally no incentive for a corporation to even allow that to happen, im amazed that this is an actual thought...

lets just say he throws out the idea, maybe the company will take it on, maybe they wont. But yeah you are right. Lets just agree that any kind of tourny even one where theres a surprise ring in it is not going to be a company sponsored event. haha

Rfc 5322

Rfc 5322 is probably your culprit. Set it to disable phone numbers as you navigate pages. Probably needs a settings update. Except Google stops it from working. Google Voice works well. That's interesting. I had no problems with gv after it was disabled. Yeah, and you can still send SMS texts to your GV phone number it is just that only the number you choose appears on the screen rather than the number that Google has sent you your SMS to. (I think) It's not just gv. That's why I'm saying it should get updated. Apparently it is an rfc 5308 type protocol. I would believe as much. The good ol' RFC isn't the most well-documented of things. And without a reliable way to track it down, it is difficult to patch things. Do you have a link to info about that? I was unaware. I can't dig it up. I just know it exists. And that at the time of rfc 5322 it was known to be broken.
